Applications

Our Gated Shifter is compatible with a wide range of automatic transmissions from GM, Ford, and Chrysler. This includes the TH200, TH350, TH400, 700R-4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L80E, 200-4R, Aluminum Powerglide (PG), 45RFE, 518, 727, 904, AOD, C4, C6, FMX, and 4R70W/AODE. Designed to mount directly to the transmission case, it ensures a secure, precise installation.

Safety

The shifter is designed with safety features to help prevent accidental gear engagement and unintended vehicle movement. A positive lock-out mechanism in Park and Neutral ensures that the shifter cannot be moved into Reverse or Park from Neutral or a forward gear unless the push button on the knob is deliberately pressed. Additionally, a properly wired and adjusted neutral safety switch prevents the vehicle from starting in any gear other than Park or Neutral, adding an extra layer of protection during ignition.
