Modern Classic products are designed to give your LS engine the look of classic Chevrolets from the nineteen fifties, sixties, and seventies while using modern components such as injectors and drive by wire throttle bodies.
The lineup includes period correct valve covers and air cleaners as well as simulated vintage style distributors. All Modern Classic components are available individually or installed on one of Lokar’s crate engine packages.
In addition to the Modern Classic product line, Lokar also offers coil and plug wire management solutions plus a wide range of engine dress up pieces. These investment grade components are built so your engine looks as good as it performs.
Crate Engines
Lokar starts with a brand new GM 495 horsepower LS3 engine and then builds out your Modern Classic package with the finishes and details your project demands.

Valve Covers
Modern Classic valve covers are the perfect fit for a retro inspired LS package while still using the latest engine architecture and sealing technology.
- Designed to bolt directly to the cylinder head with no adapter plates
- Accept OEM rubber seals for reliable leak resistant performance
- Thick casting allows drilling and tapping for fittings where needed
Valley Plates
Modern Classic Gen III oil fill valley plates bring the familiar look and function of an OEM chrome oil fill tube and breather cap into a modern LS platform.
- Integrates a classic style oil fill tube and breather into LS engines
- Turns a modern powerplant into a period correct focal point

Intakes & Air Cleaner Kits
Lokar intake and air cleaner kits blend classic carburetor era aesthetics with modern EFI performance for LS engines.
- Cast aluminum two piece intake manifold assemblies
- Billet aluminum fuel rails included along with mounting hardware and gaskets
- Air cleaner kits adapt GM LS four bolt ninety two millimeter throttle bodies
- Designed to mount on manifolds with standard 4150 carburetor bolt patterns
