Shipping & Warranty Information
LOKAR, INC. will
do our utmost to provide the highest quality products and service. If
you cannot locate a specific application in our catalog, or if you have
a special request, please give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate
you. To help avoid possible shipping errors, please use our part number
and description when ordering and indicate all vehicle data necessary
to process your order.
PRICES: We reserve the right to change prices
and company policies without notice. Depending on the customers method
of payment, any additional costs will be charged to your credit card
or sent balance due C.O.D.
PAYMENTS: Payments MUST BE MADE IN U.S. FUNDS ONLY.
We accept personal checks, Visa and MasterCard. Be sure to state your
correct account number and expiration date. C.O.D. orders are always
welcome, but must be paid by Cashier’s Check, Certified Check
or Money Order. An additional charge will be applied to each C.O.D.
package sent. A handling/packaging fee will be added to each order.
RETURNED CHECKS: A check that has been returned to us for non-payment
will result in a $20.00 service charge. Once a check has been returned,
we will no longer honor checks from that individual or firm, and we will
require cash, or Certified Check for replacement of funds.
SALES TAX: Tennessee State (only) residents add 9.25% sales tax.
SHIPPING: Shipments are shipped via UPS whenever possible (orders outside
the continental 48 states, must be prepaid or placed on Visa or MasterCard.
No C.O.D.) Orders received without shipping charges will be held up for
packaging and shipping charges. Shipping charges are based on weight
and destination of package. A handling/packaging fee will be added to
all orders shipped.
All AIR SHIPMENTS are shipped according to weight and are charged according
to UPS schedules. All phone orders for AIR SHIPMENTS charged to a credit
card, will require A FAXED SIGNATURE of the cardholder, along with the
card number, expiration date, billing address and telephone number, issuing
bank and bank phone number before AIR SHIPMENTS will be processed.
SPECIAL ORDERS: Special order requests (items that are not a stock item)
may take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Call for specific information concerning
special orders.
DAMAGE CLAIMS: Merchandise shipped via UPS must be kept in the original
shipping carton for UPS inspection. There is a UPS depot near you. If
your shipment is damaged, call UPS for inspection and they will assist
you in filing a claim. After a claim has been filed, notify us and we
will reship your order.
RETURNS: All items returned must be accompanied by a copy of the original
purchase invoice, along with instructions on how you would like the return
handled and why you are returning the parts. Shipping charges are not
refundable. Refunds will be made within 30 days of our receipt of a return.
Please provide your name, shipping address, and telephone number. Articles
must not be damaged, used, disfigured or modified in any way. Returns
must be shipped pre-paid and NO C.O.D. returns will be accepted. On merchandise
returned after a 15-day period, we reserve the right to deduct a 15%
restocking charge from the refund. No refunds after 30 days. No refunds
on special orders. For purchases made from a Lokar distributor, return
those items directly to the distributor for handling.
BACK ORDER ITEMS: A back ordered item is one that we normally stock,
but are temporarily out of stock when we received your
order. Should this occur on your order, back ordered items will be listed
in the back order column. All back ordered items are shipped as soon
as available and are charged at the time of shipping.
WARRANTY: Lokar, Inc. warranties all products manufactured exclusively
by them and will replace or repair any products proved to be defective.
We provide a lifetime warranty on all of our products.
